Since 01 October 2016, our products have begun the leap across the “pond” and have been available in the US since then. We are taking this big and extremely exciting step together with a local partner from Chicago.
Knowing that we can look back over plenty of “US experience” fills us with confidence, because “mm” has travelled several times in the United States as a roadshow service provider for our German and international customers. The difference: in the past we have used our vehicles to present other people’s products. Now our vehicles themselves are in the spotlight.
Innovative trailers on US tour
The start of our new sales activities is an original creation that has developed in recent months into a real bestseller: the “mm Lite”, which used to be known under the name “Exhibition Light 3500”. The trailer is unique in the 3.5-tonne range and sets a standard in terms of its layout standards in particular. We expect that the trailers will have very have good market opportunities in the United States, because there is nothing comparable there.
Product names are unified – sales site is created
We have also tackled another challenge before the US market launch. Namely, the standardization and internationalization of our “developed” and established vehicle designations.
From now on the name of each vehicle we have developed starts with “mm” – which is particularly intended to increase recognition. In addition, we have developed our own English-language site for buyers from the United States. At mm-special-vehicles.com, not only the vehicle models are presented in words and pictures. Case Studies also show how and where they can be used to best effect.
